The Colonel Drake District Roundtable
is held on the Second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. Most months we are located at the NEW LOCATION French Creek Productions, 100 N. 13th St, Franklin, however there are a few meetings that move to other locations. We provide training for leaders and adults wishing to take Youth Protection Training and information sessions with breakouts for Cub Scout Leaders, Boy Scout Leaders and Venturing Leaders.
The short answer is “YOU!”
Roundtable is the forum where you find out what is happening in our District and our Council, as well as learning more about Scouting and what you can do to improve the program that benefits your Scout.
At Roundtable, Cub Scout Leaders like you have a chance to look at the suggested program for the succeeding month and how to present it to the Cubs, share ideas for crafts and activities, and learn “best practices” from more experienced Cub Scouters.
At Roundtable, Boy Scout Leaders like you discuss outings and other activities, advancement, camping opportunities, and the latest in programs, equipment, and training to improve the way we guide our Scouts in their monthly and annual plans for Scouting the way it should be done.
Roundtables help us to present a “unified” program. The National Council and our French Creek Council have programs, literature, and training that can benefit all leaders, but the only way we can learn about them is to attend Roundtables and get the “word”.
