Langundowi has issued a special commemorative lodge Flap in honor of this being the 40th anniversary of the lodge.
The first meeting of the OA lodge that resulted from the merger of Eriez, Skanando Inyan, and Ho-Squa-Sa-Ga-Da was held at Camp Coffman in October of 1972. At that time the members present voted on the new name for the lodge from entries submitted by brothers of the individual lodges. The name chosen was Langundowi which means "Peaceful One". Fittingly the Iroquois Great Tree of Peace was chosen as the lodge totem.
Proceeds from the sale of this flap will be distributed to the Campership Fund, towards special service project at Custaloga Town, and towards hosting one of the best NE 4A Section Conclaves in 2015.
Members may purchase up to five at each lodge event as long as supplies last from the trading post, during normal operating hours. There will be no mail order sales, and it is not available at the McGarvey Service Center.
Come to a lodge event and get yours!
