Cub Scout Outdoor Training
Baloo & OWL

Want to take Cub Scouts camping?  Get Trained!  All leaders need the appropriate training. Based on your position, determine which course you need.  For those leaders who are working with Tigers, Wolves and Bears, we suggest taking the Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation of BALOO training.  This is a basic course that helps leaders understanding the activities that are approved for Cub Scouts and how to incorporate the Cub Scout program in the outdoors.

For leaders working with the Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts, you should take the Outdoor Webelos Leader Training or OWL.  This training goes further, building on the information from the BALOO training, and incorporates the more advanced camping and outdoor skills for Webelos to learn.

These trainings will be held at Custaloga Town Scout Reservation on May 30-31, 2015. BALOO is a one day, and OWL is an overnight.  Check In from 8:30 am to 9:00 am with training starting at 9:15 am.

*Please Pre-Register for this training early so course materials can be prepared appropriately. Registration deadline May 16, 2015.  No Reservations after May 22nd
