Washington Trail District - Winter Fest 2013

Cost: $7 Scouts & Non-Scouts w/ patch
$4 Non-Scouts w/o patch
At the Meadville Sportsman’s Club,
20600 Ryan Road, Meadville, PA
All participants can have 3 hot chocolates (adults are allowed unlimited coffee), a cup of soup, & tons of fun. Winter Fest is a Cub Scout outdoor winter fun day of games, activities, & adventure for boys & their families. There are 10 stations: each station is 20 minutes long with a 5 minute break between stations. The day will end shortly after 2:30 pm.
Boys must have an adult with them, taking responsibility for them. Participants will be assigned to one of 8 groups. Packs & Families will be kept together. Adults are to help keep their group under control & navigate the stations.
Parking is across the street On the West Side of the fire hall parking lot.
Packs may enter the Snow Sculpture Competition. Only 1 Scout needs to come to participate. Everyone should bring what they need to create a snow sculpture (shovels, food coloring, props, etc…). Lovely handcrafted ribbons shall be awarded for first, second, & third place in the snow sculpture contest Winners shall be announced at the end of Winter Fest. Only Scouts & their siblings may participate in the building of the sculptures: please, no adult help.
LUNCH & SNACKS AVAILABLE: There will be FREE SOUP. Other Food items can be purchased for a reasonable cost. Please support our kitchen – it helps pay for this great event & support a wonderful organization. We are asking everyone to bring a can of soup (NO CREAM SOUPS PLEASE) for the community pot of soup and any we don’t use will be donated to a local food bank.
